Ryan D. Howard started playing piano at the age 7 in the second grade under the instruction of Tony Fishback at Meservey Elementary later on he attended Middle School of the Arts participating in various areas such as: drama, art, creative writing and music of course. After that it was off to Paseo Academy of the Visual and Performing Arts High School where he was under the direction of Clarence Smith while participating in many different Jazz Ensembles, Combos, Concert bands, Pep bands etc……. Ryan has performed and lived overseas, making him a world renowned musician. Ryan has traveled with various artists such as: Cameo, Phil Perry, Jesse Powell, Tom Brown just to name a few. He currently attends Penn Valley Community College working on his Associates in Liberal Arts. He plays piano and organ at Swope Parkway United Christian Church, along with teaching a music therapy class at Longview Community College in the fall for children and adults with disabilities helping to motivate them on being independent and to channel their emotions through music. Ryan has performed on several occasions over the years for Penn Valley Community College. You can catch Ryan performing all over town at the Intercontinental Hotel in the plaza with Lonnie McFadden every Thursday 7pm-11pm, Phoenix Bar & Grill on the first Friday of each month 9pm-1am, Sullivan’s Steakhouse every Wednesday & Saturday 7pm-11pm in Leawood, Kansas, The Blue Room, Danny’s Big Easy, Power & Light district, Plaza III Steakhouse just to name a few places.
