People Who Could Fly is an alternative/indie/rock band in Phoenix, AZ. The band was formed in the spring of 2013 when bassist, Jacob Paige, and drummer, Josh Paige, merged their band with lead guitarist, Fletcher Milloy, and rhythm guitarist, Levi Siwek. Vocalist, Jasmine (Jaz) Robertson joined the band in midsummer of 2013 and immediately blended her rich, up front vocal style with the band’s solid, classic rock sound.
Jacob is a sophomore at Desert Vista High School in Ahwatukee. He is an excellent academic student taking Honors classes. He has been interested in music for many years and has the ability to play many instruments. His extracurricular activities include acting and performing in school plays. Jaz also is a sophomore at Desert Vista High School and is an excellent student as well. She has taken the opportunity to use her vocal talent in choir at school. Fletcher is a sophomore at Perry High School in Chandler. He is an Honors student that is excelling academically. His extracurricular activities include swimming on the Varsity Swim Team at his high school. Levi also attends Perry High School as a sophomore and is an excellent student taking Honors classes. He also excels at swimming and is on The Varsity Swim Team. Josh recently graduated from Desert Vista High School at the top of his class and now attends ASU’s Barrett the Honor College on a full scholarship as an electrical engineering major.
These exceptional musicians have combined their talents to create original songs. They recorded their first EP featuring their original songs, “I’ve Got A Gun”, “I Need A Friend”, and “Chlorine Incident”. People Who Could Fly has played at multiple venues throughout the Phoenix area. Some of these include The Rhythm Room, The Red Owl, The Stray Cat, and The Big Fish Pub.
