Matt Manzo started writing songs at the age of 15, not so they could reach the stage or be a track on an album, but because they were a way to process life. Over 18 years, 4 states, a wife, 3 kids, and many bands, recordings, and performances, that has not changed. While growing up with his mother and sister in the beautiful countryside of Eau Claire, WI, Matt made the stage a second home. After learning to play the guitar and working out the art of creating songs, he took part in the local Eau Claire music scene, developing a style that felt both true to himself and openly accessible to his listeners. Matt’s most recent release examines many of life’s changes, including dating, marriage, divorce, and parenthood, from the perspective of his Christian faith. His seasoned voice and heart-felt guitar parts bring a passionate sincerity to the songs on this album, which ring out with quiet truth and a hope for the better pieces of ourselves to flourish despite our circumstances.
Thank you all for becoming fans and sharing the music with friends. See ya around - Matt
