I am a Singer/Songwriter and have spent long hours over the years working on my craft. My current project features stories about women, who live their lives by creating and performing. These songs talk about the successes, the struggles, the passions along the path they seek. These free spirits face a balancing act, of living with a creative soul, a passion to perform, and surviving in the real world.
I consider being able perform as a Singer/Songwriter to be a blessing. My songs deal with the loves hopes and struggles of everyday people. The songs often deal with the human condition. They talk about, gunfighters, cab drivers, the homeless, the forgotten souls, as well as those who seem to have it all. The songs tell stories of the joys and heartbreaks of love. I have had the good fortune to have others cover my songs. I also have had the opportunity to play with some incredibly talented performers. I have played in many venues and am thankful to be able to share my songs with others.
I have been a photographer, who has done newspaper work, magazine work, product and advertising work. I spent a number of years photographing performers. I have been an editor and writer. Seeing things from in front of the camera and from behind the camera gives me a unique perspective. It is much like the perspective of being on stage performing, or being a watcher in the audience. The more ways you see something, the better you will understand it, and be able to describe it.
