The Campers / Bio

WILD TUNES FOR WILD TIMES.

Unconventional rhythms, rock and roll dynamics, a diverse sound pallet, and a DIY aesthetic are the building blocks for their songs of life and death, love and loss, contemplation and rollicking adventure. And food. You can stream their online-exclusive debut album "Where Do Hardcore People Sleep? IN TENTS!" at http://thecampers.bandcamp.com.

At the core of The Campers is singer, songwriter, and keyboardist Nick Coleman (Gentleman Relish, Big Fresh, The Nativity Singers), a champion of alien pop and the novelty fringe. The lineup is currently rounded out by drummer Ron Smith and bassist Jon Roberts, whose backgrounds in funk, punk, hip-hop, thrash, acid jazz, and more provide equal portions of momentum and control, making for a very dynamic musical experience.
