Hour13 has been making a strong impression on Salt Lake City’s music scene by sharing solemn lyrics through semi-dark melodic rock music since early 2008. Known for their “powerful playing and knack for anthemic inspirational choruses” – SLUG Magazine, Hour13 has developed a notable base of loyal supporters. Hour13 can be classified as post-grunge rock and has been compared to their own influences, such as Breaking Benjamin, Seether, Red, Chevelle, and many others.
Much of Hour13’s success began in late 2010. Prospective fans, local venues, and media began to notice their “high-energy shows” – IN Magazine, and ability to develop lasting relationships with their loving supporters. For this reason, Hour13 has been granted the opportunity to share stages with many incredible touring acts, including Saving Abel, Fuel, Royal Bliss, Ed Kowalcyk (formerly of Live), Evan’s Blue, and several others. These events have drawn many fresh ears to their music and created a tidal wave of fans who cannot seem to get enough.
Hour13 self-released their debut album “A Condescending Lullaby” on February 4th, 2011. A crowded venue welcomed them and fans quickly purchased every single copy of their album that was available that night. Since their album release, their music has been granted regular rotation play on mainstream broadcasting rock stations in Salt Lake City.
Presently, Hour13 commits to writing new material, honing their abilities, and booking shows at a healthy pace. The band is truly nourished by their loyal fans. Hour13 will make their dreams come true, but not alone. When asked about their growing adoration, Nick answered “We’re just a group of guys that love the music we write. Fortunately, our supportive fans are proving to us that they do too.”
Hour13 is supported, kept alive, and nourished by its friends and fans. Thank you for the support!
