Dale, a retired music teacher, finds it's time to get back in the game and start playing again. Dale writes his own songs, however, he really enjoys playing the music of the legendary John Prine. To play John's songs the way that they are written and performed by Mr. Prine is Dale's passion.
Also for his performance, Dale adds his original songs and 1920's style traditional blues tunes. A 1956 Stella Sundale Guitar is used to perform many of these tunes.
Whenever Dale performs he often donates his tips or wages to local or national assistance organizations. For the past three years Dale has donated money raised playing to the Vermont Disaster Relief Fund to aid Hurricane Irene victims and to Salvation Farms, a food assistance program in VT. He enjoys doing benefit performances. Dale says, "I am glad to be able to donate the money and have to opportunity to perform live music."
Want to hear the great songs of John Prine? Buy his albums -OR- have Dale come and perform at your venue. Hey, one day John will walk in, stand in the corner and chuckle and then request a song.
