Neil O'Neil is a Nashville based americana/rock musician who grew up on the mean streets of the Chicago suburbs.
He is currently celebrating/promoting the forthcoming release of his EP "Almost Good Enough." The album was done at Nashville's premier analog recording studio, Welcome to 1979.
Neil performs with a highly secretive internationally touring rock opera, and was the frontman of Cheer Up Charlie Daniels. Hard work, Nashville, and a little luck have afforded him several tremendous opportunities. The highlights include: playing Bonnaroo twice, SXSW twice, Bambozzle, the CMA festival twice, NBN 3 years in a row, Free Press Fest, performing with Tenacious D, recording on Brendan Benson, Abigail Washburn, The Lost Brothers recent albums, and releasing several albums of original material via various projects.
Neil eventually plans to retire from professional music at age 40 and become an exotic dancer.
