Roadhouse - Atlanta
ROADHOUSE was formed in November of 2011 from the remnants of the award winning band Fester’s Farm. Lead singer Brad Cornwell and guitarist Tom Scruggs who were the driving force behind the popular southern rock band. They decided they wanted to expand their music into other fields such as newer rock, 80’s and funk /dance music to create a party band that was fun for everyone. The kind of variety you may hear at cool type roadhouse joint anywhere in America, Hence the name ROADHOUSE was used. Although, it is simple and most likely used by other bands in other areas, they distinguish themselves outside of the metro market by extending their name to ROADHOUSE ATLANTA and that is where they can be found on line at www.roadhouseatlanta.com.
Brad is an excellent front man and puts on a memorable show. He is sometimes hard to locate as he doesn’t spend the night anchored to the stage. You are more likely to find him on a bar top table top or just roaming the floor in the middle of a song. He likes to get everyone involved in the show and will visit all patrons from table to table. Tom is also likely to leave the stage at any moment and you may find him on the dance floor playing a guitar solo behind his head or with his teeth. The newest member of the ROADHOUSE traveling circus is Jeff “Brash” Brashears. Brash gives Brad and Tom a run for their money by roaming through the crowd and visiting the bar patrons from one end of the building to the other while playing Bass. Brash also brings great harmony vocals to the mix. While everyone else is wandering around the bar creating havoc, drummer , Tracy Hornbuckle is left to his drum kit all alone on the stage holding down the beat and keeping the songs rocking. The fun doesn’t stop in between songs either as Tom, Brad and Brash trade witty & comical quips amongst each other and the crowd. As if that isn’t enough, the band has gained notoriety for its patented drinking game known as PLAY ONE DRINK ONE. Where they encourage the entire bar into drinking their drink down on several occasions during each set and ordering a new one.
