"I don't just make music to please the ears; I make music to please the soul." --Shari Clarke
SHARI CLARKE’s voice is rooted in the gospel and soul music that filled her childhood. She began performing on stage at the age of four and by the age of eight, she was already writing her own music and composing her own piano arrangements.
After graduating college with a degree in Philosophy and Rhetoric Communication, Shari made the decision to pursue music professionally. Since then, this musical prodigy has had the opportunity to work with some of the best in the music industry (among others; Mike Wilson, the Grammy Award winning engineer who has worked with great artists, such as Whitney Houston and Beyoncé).
After her extensive travels to London, Paris, and New York working on her unique soulful sound, Shari is now getting settled in the city of Atlanta where she works on her upcoming debut album. This year, Shari released her highly anticipated single "Holdin' Me Back," which unveils the young artist's breathtaking musical style. At first listen, you can feel Shari's music radiating throughout your body as it takes you on a journey. Her musical style is a dynamic cross between Pop, R&B, and Soul with a hint of Jazz, Blues, and Rock & Roll influence creating a magnetic sound that keeps you longing for more.
