In December of 2009 Jeff and Ben, both members of the LaSalle Pep band, met John through his interest in the cowbell. They then decided to create a band, John on bass, Jeff on guitar, and Ben on drums. After a slow start the band took form by the summer and its sound was defined by the end of the winter. After a lot of hard work and practice, the band debuted at the St. Pius Harvest Festival in October of 2011. Armed with their hard and heavy song "Soul To Steal" and classic hits like "Funk #49" by the James Gang, the band was surely on it's way to success. The group found themselves performing at the annual La Salle's Got Talent production performing their song "Soul To Steal". Since then, the band has played at PVD Social Club and several fundraising events around Rhode Island and Massachusetts area. To add to their loud rock n' roll sound, the addition of guitarist Steve Smith compliments the sleazy swagger in Jeff's playing with a straight forward rock guitar sound. The band is up for any sound as you hear in reggae influneced "Hole In My Soul" and the funk-based "Can't Stop Being Used". Roslyn combines hard rock riffs and attitude with all styles of music from blues, jazz, reggae, funk, and folk. Roslyn is living proof that good old rock and roll is still alive in Rhode Island.
