Front-woman Katie Gray roamed miles and miles as a solo musician looking for a band to collaborate with, when Mira Loma's B Sharps club allowed for the members to meet. The band had started off as just friends, Katie sometimes asking them for musical favors and helping her out with performances. Soon enough, Musick, Max and Katie formed Subtle Salt, an alternative pop/rock band, the name deriving from an inside joke with Katie Gray and Ed Henrick.
Subtle Salt's first single, Individuals, was released in early February of 2013.
Soon, on March 9th, Subtle Salt's album "Nostalgia" will be released, an experimental album to see which style of writing and recording the band prefers.
