Heard Over Armies has been a dream of Bobby Znak for a few years now. It has finally come to light.
The vision was that of a studio collaboration project that will become the premier Seattle Music Co-Op featuring the best guitar players in the Seattle community.
Currently, Heard Over Armies has a 4 song EP tentatively titled "A Foundation Built With Rejects". It will be released around the end of July 2014. These are songs that Bobby wrote during his time in the Seattle rock band One Gun Shy. The songs did not make the cut (they are the "rejects") with all the band members of OGS and were scraped before they could be formed. Since Bobby, Nate and Tony's departure from One Gun Shy in May and June 2014 these songs have been given a second chance at life. Other songs written by former One Gun Shy guitarists Nate Bushmaker and Tony Bennington are next up to be recorded after the EP's release. Every contributing member of Heard Over Armies is motivated and excited to see where this project can go.
Dylan Fant, the owner of One Shot Studios in Woodinville engineers Heard Over Armies songs in the studio, lends his talented drumming to the project, and may just be convinced to lend other talents in the future.
Nate Bushmaker is a busy Seattle musician with his hands in many bands and projects. When he can be tied down he plays guitar like a god on the tracks.
Tony Bennington is also a busy Seattle musician with his hands in many bands and projects. He plays guitar like a god that likes to hang out with Nate Bushmaker. He will also be the primary recruiter for the project as people tend to like him more than Bobby.
Dave Coram is an accomplished musician on many different instruments. Although he is listed as a keyboard player on the page he will be wearing many hats.
Jean-Jacques Têtu is also an accomplished musician on many different instruments. Although he is listed as a bass player on the page he will hopefully be wearing many hats in the future with the project.
