HoneyBrown was born Ebony Blocker January 1,1977 in Rochester, Ny in "The 19th ward". Honey B grew up on the outskirts of Syracuse Ny in a small town called Liverpool where she attended elementary, jr high, and high school. HoneyB discovered her love for music around the age of three, sneaking out of bed to watch her parents& their friends have kareoke in the livingroom of their home, as she grew older HoneyB. would compete in talent shows usually taking home 1st place! 1992 Mary j Blige released "What's the 411" and HoneyB knew that this was what she wanted to do. HoneyB began singing at weddings & funerals for family & friends, then in 2010 she reunited with someone who's passion for music was just as strong as hers.....Major Amer0 backed HoneyB and they began recording hooks for his album by the following year Major Amero met D.T Phenomenal and that's when the takeover began, the three of them worked on Maj0r Amer0's mixtape "New Beginings" followed by D.T. Phenomenal's "Life on Paper" and Mixtape vol.1.0 before she knew it HoneyB. started recording for her very own Album, "Can't Wait" musical influences range from Natalie Cole, Whitney Houston,Anita Baker,Chaka Khan,Teena Marie,Jill Scott, and Mary J. Blige, R.Kelly,Earth,Wind,&Fire, Frankie Beverly,Musiq Soulchild,Luther Vandross, Isley Brothers & Donny Hathaway just to name a few.
