About Mika Greiner…
With a voice that recalls the smooth melodies of Adam Levine coupled with an aggressive alter ego similar to the likes of Daughtry, Mika Greiner joins such artists as Creed in creating rock songs that are simply non-apologetic and timeless in nature.
The songwriter hails from Suburbia, Ohio and is a product of an average, ordinary loving family with midwestern values. At a very young age, Mika lost his mother in a tragic automobile accident. A simple family unit forever changed by anything other than ordinary circumstances. Mika’s distressed father, alone to raise a 3 year old on his own immersed himself in his work often moving from city to city to make ends meet. As a result, Mika grew up as the perennial new kid at school. While making friends came easy, keeping friends was a different story with the continual change of scenery. He took to songwriting and poetry as comfort measures and wrote about everlasting relationships, adventure and love. The idea of two people united in a sacred bond taking on the world parlayed into a thematic message found in much of the songwriter’s repertoire.
