Burn This For Your Friends / Bio

Burn This For Your Friends had their humble beginnings in the hilly outskirts of the small town of Corona, California in the summer of 2007. Originating as nothing more than a joke about starting a Reggae band, the five members of Burn This For Your Friends soon began to recognize their promising potential as collaborating musicians. The group then collectively decided to start getting serious about their talent and took their mutual love and passion for music to the next level.

Composed of band members Aaron Rocha, Art Wood, Rob Hill, Kevin Holcomb, and Chris Lendzion, Burn This For Your Friends fuses the likes of Reggae, Rock n’ Roll, and a healthy dash of Blues to create a sound which some have likened to bands such as Sublime and 3-11. The band is a colorful, melodic blend of Old-School Rock n’ Roll influence, with an Alternative-Reggae twist.

From the garage to the top of the marquee, the crowd-pleasing quintet has headlined and captured the attention of numerous venues such as The World Famous Whisky-A-Go-Go in Hollywood, The House of Blues in Anaheim, and turned heads at the SoCal Rock Revolution Music Festival in 2009. When the band isn’t busy rocking venues and music festivals, you can catch them lighting up clubs and bars all over the Inland Empire and Orange County areas on a regular basis.

Based on overwhelming audience response, and a professional commitment to doing what it takes to achieve break-through status, Burn This For Your Friends is currently hard at work on their own self-produced, self-recorded, full length debut album, set for release in the Summer of 2010.
