Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist, Anna Milk, was writing songs from the moment she could speak. While attending the University of Florida she played shows in several cities including Miami, Jacksonville and Fort Lauderdale. Upon graduating, she moved to Austin to pursue her musical dreams, and so far Anna has played at such venues as the Red Eyed Fly, The Parish, Backroads, The Whip In, Baker's Street, Stompin' Grounds and B.D. Riley's Irish Pub. People often describe her songs as haunting, ethereal, and full of true emotion. Her compelling lyrics draw you in to her world – “I want love, mad and mindless as a dream, and senseless and unceasing, simple as a stream, and raging like the sea.” and you feel as if you can see right into her soul – “I watched the years they melt like snow, I don't know where the days go, but god damn the minutes pass so slow when there is no one to talk to” (from her popular song Watch Me Go). She can put you in a dreamlike state and then wake you up and make you shake in a matter of minutes. People often compare her to Bjork, Alanis Morissette, The Cranberries, Joanna Newsom and Regina Spektor.
Her guitar is “accompanied by her soft, quivering voice that seems to float over the chords. She can sustain nice vibratos as well as long breathy notes; one thing is certain, she always sings like she means it.” “...an honest artist” (Lima, Dante. The Gainesville Sun)
