The Levi Cuss Band
A ground breaking local artist Levi Cuss has just recently returned from recording an album in Nashville under the guidance of renowned, Juno winning, producer Steve Dawson, who he met during his stint as resident artist at Banff School!
Levi’s singing song writing style took root while he and his family lived in Costa Rica and blossomed after a short stay in Grand Forks, BC. Often said to be reminiscent of Bob Dylan, he is passionate about his music and using his lyrics to voice his concerns about what he sees as injustice in the world. His fabulous band consists of :
Al Sosnowski, freelance bassist and the newest addition, completed his BMus in jazz performance at Humber College in Toronto and has played and recorded for over twenty years. Equally comfortable playing jazz, blues, funk, R&B, reggae, Latin, afro/Cuban, folk, roots, rock, metal and prog, his bass influences include a plethora of musicians including Jaco Pastorius, Chuck Rainey and David Hood.
Bradford Lawlor, lead guitarist has been playing since the age of nine and studied intermittently with Lawrence Patzer for ten years. Playing in his high school jazz band and in the pit orchestra for several productions at Confederation Center of the Arts in Charlottetown, PEI were special but it wasn’t until he moved to Red Deer in 2006 that his love of guitar and musical opportunities came into alignment and he became a fixture in the local music scene.
Carlos Copaban, who, last but not definitely not least, is the dynamic drummer. Carlos, who after sharing 30 years of experience and countless shows in 14 countries and across Canada delights in delivering his passion for drumming and sharing stages with all kinds of musicians and artists to any audience. Carlos is well versed in a variety of styles including rock, metal, jazz, country and Latin.
They look forward to seeing you at a show near you!
