Joshua "E.L.I.A.S the Profhit" is an Hip Hop Artist hailing from the Ohio Valley. Now residing in Weirton, WV this inspiring artist burst into the scene competing and winning non-hip hop competitions at the age of 14, forcing the judges to open a new category.
In the summer of 2014 the up and coming american artist released his highly praised first single "HEADSTRONG", and hasn't stopped since. He is now prepping his highly anticipated first mixtape "#ProfhitPropaganda: Hip Hops Savior" using the mixtape to demonstrate what he stands for and vows to not rap about the usual topics commonly bragged in the rap world: money, violence, sex, and drugs. With his incomparable style of inspiring lyrism mixed with authentic truth, E.L.I.A.S has racked up an outstanding worldwide following on all major social media websites including You tube and Facebook and stacked up over 10,000 song plays globally in record breaking time. He is the first ever West Virginia hip hop artist to perform at major church competition "Winter Fest" and has one countless awards for his poetry, including "Young Writers for The Future".
With this much passion, ambition and charisma, this innovative artist also has room for his alter ego,"The Profhit". This personality is known for his aggressive, non filtered, no holding back style evident in his major influence Tupac Shakur. When asked why he has this multiple personality rap style, ETP replied, "I want my listeners to hear every part of me. Whether I'm motivating my people to become something better in life, or show my aggression towards rappers talking about "how much money they make" my fans will get a full experience filled with truth."
ETP intially wanted to pursue music when he heard Bone Thugs N Harmony's "Cross-Roads" at age 5 and remembering how drawn he was too hip hop music. "I couldn't understand what they we're saying, but I could't take my eyes off the TV!!"
In the summer of 2014, ETP shared the stage with his first major artist Lantana on July 4th. Gaining major recognition from the show, he was enligned with the stars on and offline including becoming a co-host on OG Mack Drama's 1017 BrickSquad Monopoly Radio Station #LetEmTalkRadio.
Then Fall of 2014 the unthinkable happened. ELIAS The Profhit got the call to share the stage with his idols BONE THUGS N HARMONY in front of a sold out crowd of Cleveland Ohio. Gave the rising star hopes that dreams can come true. Then two weeks after the show of his dreams, his success trickled into another World when he headlined with R & B Legend GINUWINE. One month later he shared the stage with YMCMB recording artist Cory Gunz & R&B sensation Pleasure P. ETP also has collaborated with T.I.'s Hustle Gang Artist Mike Feez (WARRIOR). ETP's newest accolade now includes being a featured artist of 2015' XXL FRESHMAN EDITION FOR XXL Magazine.
When asked about what he wants to do with his music, the rapper responded, "I want my people to hear my voice and know that I'm here for their motivation. I stand for the people that struggle. I'm an advocate for bettering your life and want to motivate people every step on the road to success. That's what I'm destined to do."
