Since forming in April of 2012 BAKIN'PHAT has been thrilling audiences in the Inland Northwest with their style of High Energy Jump Blues playing everywhere from small clubs to the largest venues and festivals the area has to offer. If you enjoy the likes of Little Charlie and the Nightcats, James Harmon, William Clarke and Hollywood Fats, you are sure to love what this band has brings to the stage every time they suit up.
2012 was a great year for the Band. Playing over 70 shows all the while building a large fan base as well as solid reputation as one of the areas top acts. Bakin'Phat was awarded Best News Blues Act of 2012 by the Inland Empire Blues Society, which was a thrill for the band.
2013 has proven even more exciting and eventful than last year. Bakin' Phat had the pleasure and good fortune to perform at some great Pacific Northwest festivals this year including The Couer d'Alene Blues festival, The Walla Walla Guitar Fest, The Wallace Blues Festival and Pigout in the Park. The guys continue to set the stages on fire, big or small, where ever they go.
On August 18th the band traveled to the Snohomish Blues Festival in Snohomish, WA to compete in the International Blues Challenge Regional Round. They proceeded to prove why they are considered rising stars in the blues world by winning the competition. They now are preparing to represent the Washington Blues Society at the IBC finals in Memphis in January.
