The Reign, The Guillotine / Bio

A year after the departure of "My Bloodshed Kills" the six members decided to make another run at the music scene. This six piece Deathcore / Metal band from the Napa Valley "The Reign, The Guillotine" use an entirely new style and sound. Heavier and more thought out song writing bring listeners an incredible mix of thrash metal and deathcore, keeping their listeners on the edge of their seats wanting more. Energetic stage presence and light shows give the crowd energy and emotional release. Using the break between bands, each member has grown and matured as musicians. Jon Grimstad brings a Rythmatic yet torturous drumming style. Emerson Sutherland's bass sounds thick and full keeping the drums tight. Jonny Phillips guitar tone and writing style bring an unique blend of black metal and deathcore. Steffin Welch leads and writing style blend old school thrash metal into this modern sound. Brandon Kliebers black metal melodic keyboard sound makes every note eerie and demonic. and Chris Peelers evil and guttural growls drive you to learn every word and sing along. Blending inspirations such as... Whitechapel, Exodus, Pantera, Metallica, Conducting from the Grave, Amon Amarth, Necrophagiest, Oceano, I Declare War, Thy Art is Murder, Testament: "The Reign, The Guillotine" have successfully mixed thrash metal and deathcore into a more then welcomed band in the bay area metal scene, and strive to entertain their fans for years to come. "The Reign, The Guillotine" Has now brought deathcore / Metal straight to the Napa Valley without a warning.
