The Fearless Ones are a throwback to the glory days of rock. The quintet fuses the power-pop of Cheap Trick and Matthew Sweet with the instrumental and songwriting prowess of Little Feat and Steely Dan to create an original sound all their own. Fans of The Fearless Ones' singer-songwriter/rhythm guitarist Tom Powley's work with seminal jamband Percy Hill, a band he co-founded in 1993, will appreciate the band's willingness to experiment on stage.
Tom Powley, former rhythm guitarist and singer of Percy Hill, has joined up with Brendan Power (drums), Mark Murphy (lead guitar), Tim Martin (keys), and Jarrod Williams (Bass) to craft lyrically driven songs with old school appeal that combine to form an interesting and unique new sound with its foundation in jam rock. TFO incorporates a multitude of musical styles and backgrounds as they perform shows around New England, sharing the stage with many bands including The Assembly of Dust and Ghosts of Jupiter. The Fearless Ones have recently finished in the recording studio and are touring in support of their latest 6 song EP that can be downloaded on ReverbNation
