Swedish Singer/songwriter Madelene Jænsson started as a drummer and songwriter in a rock band at the age of 14. Five years later she bought her first guitar and started to write songs and sing by herself.
In June 2011 she released her first single Sign on Spotify and iTunes. Produced by Markus Wiborn. Later that year Madelene started to work on her first EP with Joakim Lundgren at Recipe Musikproduction as her producer. In September 2012 she released ‘Never Too Late To Try’ and got nominated in Irelands first Music Awards for unsigned artist. Madelene made it to the top 5 in the ’international acts’ category. In February 2013 a radio station in Canada played Never Too Late To Try and had Madelene and her music as front page on their website. In may 2013 Channel Radio in UK did a long interview with Madelene and played Sign and Never Too Late To Try. In June 2013 she will release her upcoming single Measure Up so STAY TUNED!
Gavin DeGraw, Brian McKnight, James Morrison, Eric Martin and NEEDTOBREATHE are the key to her inspiration. Her music has been described as acoustic pop with a touch of rock, vocal and country.
