Krista Earle, Country pop/rock singer and songwriter is hitting the International Music Scene. Her first single "Bad Hair Day" was released to Canadian National Radio followed by her single "Man Up" receiving heavy radio rotation. Krista Earle has a very original sound, a powerhouse of a voice with a sweet tone. Her music, a unique blend of catchy country/pop/rock melodies. Krista already has a strong fan base of tweens, teens and adults that follow her to her live performances across Canada.
Born in Toronto, Ontario, Krista has had a great passion for singing and performing from an early age. Krista comes from a family whose talents were singing and playing numerous instruments. Krista has a solid track record in performance. She was contracted at the very early age of 14 to perform as a main stage Disney Performer for stage shows across Ontario which she continues to do, along with Bridal modelling for a Major Bridal Magazine.
Krista has worked with Producer Steve Ashley of Heritage Studios, Burlington, Ontario, Shannon Gunn Professor and Masters of Composition at Humber College, Toronto, Ontario, Canada's top vocal coach and producer Elaine Overholt, of Big Voice Studios, Toronto, Ontario and is presently working with Juno award winning producer, composer, and music director Glenn Morley in Toronto, Ontario, also collaborating with hit Canadian and Nashville based songwriters.
A numerous 1st place winner in the Music Festival Vocal Competitions and shows, featured in several International Music Magazines and having done dozens of Radio Interviews. Krista was a finalist in the International Songwriters Competition, and the recipient of the prestigious Government of Ontario Arts Award. She also had the privilege to and continues to perform at the CCMA's Country Music Week, NSAI Tin Pan North, and Music Week in Toronto. She is a standing member of Country Music Association of Ontario, and Canada, Nashville Songwriters Association International, Songwriters Association of Canada, and Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada.
Krista was represented at MIDEM 2013, the International Music Festival in Cannes, France. She also was nominated in three categories at the of the Country Music Association of Ontario Awards for Female Artist, Single and Songwriter of the Year for her single "You Can Count On Me" 2013, and is in the lst round nominations for Female Artist, Single and Songwriter of the Year 2014 for her single "I'm Done". Also, being offered a singing roll in the movie about Winston Churchill to be filmed this summer in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, USA. Krista's music story has also been shared in Nashville based award winning author Joyce Knudson's book titled "Music Throughout the Ages", where she can inspire other artists to persevere and follow their dreams. Also an advocate for numerous charities, Krista works with the Sicks Kids' Make A Wish Foundation. Also, just back from a recent trip to Nashville for songwriting and performing showcases, she was honoured to be asked to be a part of Women Rock for Charity Event, where she took women from all over the country, helped them form a Rock band, from writing, rehearsing, and performing a song, which was featured on Nashville Television.
Krista has just released her third new single I'm Done" to Canadian National Radio, already receiving heavy radio rotation in both Europe, Australia,and the US. The official music video has just been released to CMT Canada.
