Consisting of 4 key current members, working together from various music background and taste, to jam their heart out and learn to work as an unit to help Borneo grunge scene. Dean Daniel Miguel Jackson, the vocalist and also the guitarist, found and created the band together with another key member, Elvin James Howard, the lead guitarist. Both were inspired with the likes of Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Blink 182 and etc. The bassist, Hensly Callixtus, occasionally did his role as the back-up vocals, and a big fan of Chevelle, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Deftones, and many other good bands. Brandon Mitchell Bagat, the heartbeat of the band, works himself as the skillful drummer and known by many, this metalhead listens to many Black Metal bands such as Vader, Gorgoroth, Nile, Behemoth and a lot more.
The band was created in the late of 2009. The band genre is Grunge and originally owned five members in the band, but they went their on ways, respectively. On 2010 March, during the 'HSI', or better known as High School Idol, the band performed at number 27 with ex members, Ferdinand and Wiris. Both talented guys performed on stage, and played Blink 182's, All the small things. Although the band did not succeed in the finals, the band managed to show their respective talents.
On 2011 March, the second year of HSI, we'd performed again, but this time, comes with a whole new different attitude, going on number 3 with guest member, Andrew Lo, playing Green Day's 21 guns. But that wasn't it, again like 2010, the band's number was 27 again, this time, all the current band members, on stage, playing Simple Plan's Save you. Sadly, the band didn't get in to the finals again, due to lack of votes and attendance.
After the bassist, Marvin, departed from the band after having some issues with the band, the vocalist, Dean, decided to continue this band but this time with more serious tone. After Hensly, the current bassist, agrees to join this band, we'd performed at Zeus Sports Bar, located at Padungan, for once-a-week bassist. The band runs the weekend-night shows for more than three months, before parting ways with the management.
Before recruiting Brandon, the current drummer, the band was experiencing hard times of finding an official drummer because Dean wanted to be the vocalist, after being suggested by many fans and his mum, who happens to be a great vocalist too. Suggestions after suggestions of the drummer spot, we'd finally get Brandon who happens to be our schoolmate and Dean's classmate. After he agrees to join the band, the band kicks the start to record their first studio album, recorded under Mad3vents.Co and managed by Charles Janum, the vocalist/guitarist of Chakwau Cyndrome.
The band now is concentrating on their first album, implying many elements based on what listener wants, without leaving the original identity and aims of The Outsider's Edge; to stand out, honest and to not be a mediocre Grunge band.
WE ARE JUNKIES, BUT NOT ON DRUGS BUT IN MUSICS.
