Nick “101” Lynch,
Born and raised in Wichita, is 20 years young with a talent beyond his years he is more unusual than most, with a unique pattern and diverse dictionary in his heads he claims," I have word insanity and i cant ever seem to stop making music in my head". 101 realized he could rap while being addicted to methamphetamine at the age of 16.the reaction to the drug made him write every time he did it. This then fueled him day after day to get better at his talent and perfect his craft. A year and a half later he stopped when he realized he can use his story and his unique skill to inspire and help others while still being able to have the gift he was born with w/o risking having an addition .
101 was inspired to write his first song when he heard Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G. song “Runnin.” He wrote to the instrumental and titled it “Heroes and Legends”. In the song 101 describes the difference between a hero and a legend. Saying that he does not want to just be a heroe that someone just remembers, He wants to be a legend. Because "Heroes get remembered, But legends never Die".
At the age of 17, after writing close to 100 songs, 101 started to actually record. 101 had always been looking for people to record with so meeting Tone-G was a great thing now he could finally pursue his dream of becoming the biggest name in the city. But after a dispute and Tone-G going to prison 101 felt like he was left on his own again. with no body to mentor him or guide him in the right direction he now has no choice but to try something new. ''MR.E MEDIA" where 101 will bring the best of skill and bring in a band of brothers that will finally make local talent recognized in Wichita, KS.
