The Electrical Fire is a genre-bending electronic outfit from Boston. The group is spearheaded by Anthony Barounis and features a rotating group of collaborators that brings a unique sound to each of their releases. Their debut album, Don't They Know, was released in 2012. The instrumental album was initially conceived as a companion piece to a short story that had written one year earlier. Later that year they wrote the music for the independent cycling documentary "Ride Crazy: The Single Man March," which has played throughout the Northeast and raised thousands of dollars for the Wounded Warrior Project. Never taking a break, they continued working on music and released their second album, Bubble Moon, on April 30, 2013. This album marked a new sound for the band as it incorporated Barounis' lyrics and vocals for the first time and featured an all-around more natural sound. The album's only single, "Get Behind It!", became a hit on YouTube with over 10,000 views. Throughout the summer of 2013, the band continued to produce new material and bring more collaborators into the studio. The Electrical Fire's next album is currently in production with no release date currently set but the rest of the year will see them release a series of EPs, which was kicked-off with the digital-release of Funky Feelings on October 15.
