We write songs about having fun, drinking beer and the consequences and inevitable stories you hear the next day. We have fun. We play acoustic, reggae rock with a country pop twist and a shot of alcohol.

After getting on stage for the first time separately in 2001 and later in the band Common Ground Jake and Skylar took very different paths. It wasn't until 2012 they would be joined once again by a new musical endeavor Lost Philosophies. During their time apart much was learned about music, art, and life which was the catalyst for this new project. The two had matured physically, but mentally it was as if they were still little boys. They didn't intend to let that hinder their ability to write great songs and sell out shows. With the addition of drummer/vocalist Shawn Battle, the line-up was complete. Their music is described as a unique mix of rock, reggae, alternative, and country. The intention was to create something new and different while drinking beer.
