Who are these strange iconoclastic musicians?

We don’t know, either.

All we know is that something bizarre happened as the result of a late night laboratory experiment involving lightning, the high e string from a vintage jazzmaster, a couple of old vacuum tubes and a bucket of salt water. There was a burst of sound, a rushing wind and our would-be researchers suddenly found themselves drifting in the midst of a stormy sea with no memory of how they got there.

When they finally washed up on a distant shore they found themselves irresistibly drawn to make music drenched in reverb. Some day they hope to find out why...

So, who are they really?

Tom – never argue with a guy who wrestles and also beats on things

Jeff – he who is basically the rest of the rhythm section

Randall & Ralph – guitar playing + nerds = the brotherhood of the six strings
