Artist, Producer, and Engineer, E.Q. was born in lower Manhattan but raised in his hometown of Queens, New York. Growing up as a child he began listening to music in the late 80's and decided he would like to become a hip-hop recording artist not to long after that. Since then E.Q. has become a very successful audio engineer and has worked with many of his idols and hip-hop legends. He has worked with artists such as Joell Ortiz, Cormega, Noyd, Joe Budden, Tragedy Khadafi, Barrington Levy, Notch, Lumidee, Sauce Money, Bun B, Ras Kass, Murda Mook, Jin, Infamous Mobb, Pharoahe Monch, Sadat X, Lord Finesse, Showbiz, AG, O.C., and artists from the Chosen Few such as Fuego, LDA, Jenny La Sexy Voz and Reychesta Secret Weapon.. He is mostly known for his behind the scenes work with Joell Ortiz and his credited under his real name Chris Pinto for "The Brick" and " Slaughterhouse" albums and is also credited for the Neek Da Exotic/ Large Professor album " Still on the Hustle ". He has recorded many radio hits such Joell Ortiz's "
Hip-Hop", Plan B's " Freakitona rmx." featuring Trick Daddy, Trina, and LDA, and Alexis y Fido's " Eso Eh rmx"!!! E.Q. also had a few radio spins throughout the month of October 2008 on DJ Marley Marl's Future Flavors show on Power 105.1 FM while working with super producers Now & Laterz, Big Will Rosario, J Delema etc.!!! As an artist he has songs with Wu-Tang's Gab Gotcha and Reychesta Secret Weapon!!! E.Q. is currently workin on his own album with Rapper O3 but is mainly focused on his production for new singing sensation Kt Mulholland!!! Keep a look out for their great music!!!
