Echoed Illusions was started as an acoustic project when Matthew Petrucci and Michael Howell decided to create inspiring music. Not too long after that, Joel Clark and Michael Lofgreen joined the group as bassist and drummer. The band renamed for the upcoming Battle of the Bands at Hillcrest High School as Asteroth. The song Watch You Fall was created in a scattered rush for entrance into the competition. Mike Lofgreen soon became entranced by another group under the name Advent Horizon and was later dismissed from the band. Asteroth was discarded and reverted back to Echoed Illusions with the arrival of Dylyn Boswell as the new drummer. Several songs began pumping out but soon Jandi Jensen entered in as a backup vocals and Mike Howell left for personal reasons. Takami Kowalski joined in right as Matthew left to serve an LDS mission. Mike Howell took his place back in the band. 1 year after the departure of Matthew, Beyond the Line was born and Joel also left to serve a mission. The band staggered a bit but soon Matthew returned to the band along with temporary guitarist, Collin Dyer. Mike covered Joel's portion and played bass. At this point, the original group is about to be reformed as Joel Clark, Mike Howell, Matthew Petrucci, and Dylyn Boswell. Now is the rising of our creativity, ability and determination. Echoed Illusions of Sandy, Utah is up for the challenge of making it as an Alternative Rock band. Stay near, for shows will be happening in March of 2013.
