You could call it grunge, you could call it alternative, but at the end of the day, it’s still rock.
Rachelle Adrian discovered the guitar at an age when most girls were still discovering the training bra. Her inspiration for songwriting is drawn deep from the well of life experience, a quality that allows the listener to taste feelings ranging from bitter defeat to thunderous victory. These were anthems of emotion in a world which all too often, seems devoid of feeling. Upon seeing other songwriters producing their music and gaining notoriety and media attention, the seed was planted. Attending local acts and concerts on the Hollywood rock scene furthered her resolve. It was no longer enough to merely write these songs, she had to head a movement to produce them in their entirety. Through a tentative series of line ups and forging musical alliances eventually the band “Shell” emerged, with Rachelle positioned firmly at the helm.
