Rachelle And The Rising is a rock band from Los Angeles, CA. Their bad-ass front woman Rachelle Adrian has a rock goddess voice that can even give some male vocalists a run for their money! This band has Filipino/American, Italian, swedish, and Venezuelan heritage! An interesting mix for creating awesome new music!
They were featured on KAOI Radio and KROCK in Hawaii several times since 2011 where they have done 3 tours. The band is currently playing shows in Los Angeles and will be performing in CRUEFEST on July 26th in addition to planning a tour of the western United States for this summer.
More recently, Rachelle & The Rising has released their zombie music video "Face The World Alone" on YouTube and Myx TV in the Philippines. You will soon be seeing them performing this song in Fetish Factory, a zombie/burlesque feature film produced by actors Michael Biehn (Terminator, Aliens) and Jennifer Blanc (Dark Angel).
The band members include brother and sister Tracy and Kevin Lambertucci, Jonas Blomqvist, and Tyler DeCastro. Tracy is a born lead/rhythm guitarist with super skills and a heart of gold. Kevin enjoys soccer and loves to play bass. Jonas is a music lover to the core. Tyler drums like no other and enjoys kicking back and hanging out with friends. Brought together by fate, Rachelle and The Rising connect with each other and their fans through the emotion-filled music that they create.
Here is a note from Rachelle (scroll down)...
In regards to songwriting...
I truly lived these songs
they told me what to do when I didn't know where to go next
They gave me solace and a reason to be, a strong driving force behind this need to be heard
I don't ever want to run out of things to say
That's my greatest fear
And it's hard because the older I get, the more people i get to know, the less I feel the things I have to say are important or original
Right now I am striving for new meaning
Discovering life's hidden truths are what I live for
When I get a song that captures something new and meaningful to me, it's such a rush which is why I keep doing this music thing
Everything I do is music... I scare people with the amount of time and resources I have placed into this dream of "making it"
Hope you will take the time to listen and if you like, support original rock music!!! :)
