Alex Robshaw was born in Montreal, Canada, from the very brief union of two famous musicians. She began her musical training at the age of 5, and by the time she was 18, she had already accumulated a massive baggage of professional experiences in the music business, through many recording sessions and live performances. In 2006, Alex Robshaw decided to dedicate herself to her solo career. After releasing two EPs, she partnered with Simon Petraki of Seratone Studio in late 2010 to produce her first full-length album.
1339 Crowder's End was released in November 2012. The powerful album gathers inspiration from a widespread variety of genres, creating a truly unique sound Robshaw can call her own, defined as Dark Cabaret Sex Rock.
Since the release of Crowder's End, Robshaw has performed many live shows. She has toured across Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritimes, displaying her Art to as many audiences as possible, building herself a solid fan base.
In winter 2014, Alex Robshaw will begin the production of her second full-length album. Robshaw is teaming up with Jonh M. Miller of Montreal industrial band Projekt F, who will be working as co-producer on the record. Four visual artists will be providing their talent for the album artwork: Emilie Leger, Marti Garaugthy, Natalie Vegas, and Abdala Kaufman. The project, entitled Original Game, is setting itself as a very strong collaborative and innovative work of art.
