THE MOODS manchester / Bio

we dont have a Bio, but here's what other people think

I thought I had heard it all after drudging through thousands of dull repetititve demos, cover tracks and all songs sounding the same, but my sanity is regained thanks to the Moods,no fairytale lyrics, they tell it like it is........We had the Happy Mondays in the nineties, now we have The Moods,if I were to get into promotions, this is the band I would promote.I am very difficult to impress but these guys hit the spot......They Rawk!!!!! ,,open2scout (facebook)

"i think there's about half a dozen spectacular Manchester bands, and THE MOODS is one of them" Clint Boon XFM
(see in video's)

"This is the autumn grim reeper this one, glitch / indie / hop / punk / step! crossing boundary's like theyv gone outa fashion.. think leftfield//ian brown//gorilaz//ian dury & the blockheads.. next fucking level if i do say so myself.. steppin' up the game!"Mark Norcliffe facebook

stunning, furious salutes to grandeur and desperation, thievery and redemption..like bleak and uplifting hymns to a land defined and designed by music...as good as anything Underworld or Massive Attack produced, especially on the big, spacious epics of "midnight" or "I Hope"..Magnificent poetry and searing shards of musical beauty. Feather=Knock me! .... Mikewhite Presents (reverbnation)

"the Moods. Musically, the band are tighter than a gnats chaff with a vibe looser than Bob Marley’s belt. Vocals provided by a man looking like he left the Stone Roses, but the sound is more Heaton Park than Reading ’97. Electro, Reggae, Indie, Funk, it’s a real melting pot of influences and the crowd now in full swing, love it" Kristian evans
