Vocalist Ryan Singleton and Guitarist Kobie Huff joined forces in January 2013 and together formed Condemned Nation when they later found Drummer Jarred Gladieux and Bassist John Wainwright, who later went to guitar and Micky Nelson became the final addition to the band March 2013 when he took over the Bass Guitar. Condemned Nation looks to keep the older style rock sound alive by mixing it up with their own modernized sounds. Each member came from different backgrounds of music and because of that, different ideas and sounds can be heard throughout their setlist. So, you want to know what genre Condemned Nation is huh? Well, that's a great question. They have stuck by the name Experimental Rock with a Modern 80s twist. They write lyrics fans can relate to. Music from standing up for the right thing, to slower songs from a broken heart, to the feeling of being lost and alone and trying to make a name in a world that no longer cares. They want to create music that all age groups can enjoy, something for everyone. In late 2013 John, Jarred, and Micky all went their separate ways with the band and that is when Chuck Thomas, Sean McKinney, and Tom Hope all joined the band. When members were finalized, they all agreed to change the name and that is how Cloak & Dagger was formed.
