The Canyon Riders / Bio

Based in Nashville, The Canyon Riders sound is an evocative blend of Americana which ranges from haunting folk ballads to whiskey soaked alt-country rockers. The core of the group was formed in 2010 when Mississippi natives Chuck Sullivan and Jeff Lusk began trading songs on acoustic guitars. Their mutual passion for country and folk music blossomed as Lusk began penning original tunes for them to perform. In 2011, the duo expanded into a quartet with the addition of Mindy Wright on drums and Marc Schneider on bass guitar/ harmonica. Coinciding with their first anniversary, The Canyon Riders are releasing a self-titled EP containing five original songs.
