The Woodersons are a jam band from the foothills of North Carolina. The band was founded when singer/guitarist Andrew Moose began playing shows in Hickory, NC. Looking for musicians with his same musical taste, Andrew began playing shows with some of Hickory's finest musicians until finding a solid lineup. Former Reggie Wooten student, Kevin Plant, was brought in on bass, followed by 1960's/Jam influenced drummer Marty White.
The Woodersons have began booking shows and festivals across NC, and recently played a show with Sam Bush employee, Daren Shumaker, who joined them onstage playing mandolin. Mixing together rock, blues, and folk, The Woodersons are feeding their jam addiction.
