The genesis of the band is hazy at best..
The members of Tsunami House came from different parts of the North Island. They all met in Wellington through mutual interests and friends. They realised they had the same taste and passion for music and formed the band. They play a hard style of rock music with melody and a solid groove. The vocals range from screaming to melody with harmonies.
They started writing original songs and performing these around the North Island. Tsunami House played at a festival in Hawkes Bay called Sanctuary Sounds on the Summer of 2012. This was their first gig with new bassist Ryan. Since then they have added guitarist Phil to their lineup. Other members are Brad on vocals and keys, Koresh on guitar and Martin on drums.
Tsunami House recently finished producing an EP called Phase One. The release date is going to be finalised soon. They're planning a tour coinciding with the release.
