Serena Page recently graduated first in her class from the University of St Andrews. With a degree in Biochemistry and a passion for all things good, Serena’s music reflects her ideals and fun way of life.
Singing is Serena’s passion – when she was younger she remembers running through fields singing and making up songs! At the age of 9 Serena recalls winning her first singing competition where she sang ‘Stop’ by the Spice Girls. When she was 12 the young singer began writing her very own songs and has been doing so ever since.
Having completed her four years at St Andrews, Serena then began recording her own music at home. Serena loves travelling and challenging herself, and it was after a summer in the US that she was offered the opportunity to take on an MBA at UCLA. She declined however, deciding to concentrate on her music rather than academics as she had always done before.
Serena is a self-confessed geek and her friends would describe her as very ambitious and driven. She takes her inspiration from artists such as Mandy Moore and Britney Spears, and it is this style of pop that suits her unique and youthful-sounding voice. The late 90s and early 2000s, the time when she grew up, is the era that she feels most in tune with. The songs that she writes and sings reflect upon love and growing up.
