The Chris White Band is essentially an original acoustic/ rock/ alternative act consisting of 4 main members, Bob Henshaw (lead guitar), John O’Neill (hand-percussion/ drums), Phil Barber (bass/ vocals), and the distinct sound and lyrics of singer-songwriter Chris White (guitar/ vocals). The Chris White Band is a combination of alternative, classic rock, funk, blues, and reggae, with an excessively large collection of both original music and cover songs. Although the band has been playing around the area for more than five years, the band members and sound have changed over time into a something greater than it has ever been.
The group has recently played at Meadowbrook, Waterville Valley, Cannon Mountain for PSU’s winter carnival, Rockingham Park for the Salem, NH rotary club, the Hampshire Dome for SNHU’s relay for life, and Lyndon State College, and much more.
Albums are available on the band’s website, as well as their first ep, an acoustic album featuring Jacob Stern of the Crunchy Western Boys on fiddle, entitled “8 Songs”, for sale on itunes. The Chris White Band has t-shirts, and albums for sale at their shows, and can be reached by email, facebook, or their website at www.TheChrisWhiteBand.com.
