The Due South Band / Bio

The Due South Band's roots are strong in Southern Rock and Outlaw Country. With influences like The Marshall Tucker Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers Band, Jamey Johnson, Waylon Jennings, David Allan Coe and CCR, Due South generates a unique sound that is clear and purely southern.
DSB show sets include covers of many of the artist listed above but also has a large amount of original material. The original songs are songs most of us can relate to and appeals to all different generations and backgrounds. With songs like "Friday Night In Carolina" which most everyone from the south can relate with, to "I Ain't Backin Down" a tribute to our troops, everyone will be drawn in by their music. From the blue collar worker to the white collar worker all will feel the energy and drive. The DSB music is honest, heart felt, proud, southern, mellow and rocking all in one unique package.
