John Huldt, originally from Sweden has called Los Angeles home since 2006. He has become known as one of the most versatile guitarists among his peers and has been receiving accolades from many of the industry's top players.
He released his first solo debut CD in 2008 called "Rules Do Not Apply" and a second solo album is in the works for 2012.
While known mostly for his instrumental music as lead guitar player in LA metal standouts, Ampora, his constant search for new challenges and love for the guitar has lead him into the acoustic world where he puts his unmistakable fingerprint on everything from traditional Swedish and American music to pop, rock, and original compositions.
John is an in demand player and is currently teaching the advanced rock classes at LA Music Academy. He further does clinics, tours, plays locally with several bands and performs regularly in Europe.
John has won several talent competitions and most notably was one of the top 6 finalists in Lee Ritenours 6 string theory competition in 2011.
