A unique style, magnetic personal presence and diverse musical background only begin to describe the Brooklyn native artist known as Ekko Seven. An artist that cannot go unnoticed, saying that hers is a career that has been "devoted" to music would be an understatement.
Unlike many R&B artists, Ekko Seven never sang in church- she was however born with a natural ear and insatiable love for music This innate ability lead her to begin honing her skills and perfecting her craft by researching and listening to various genres ranging from Rock and Soul, R&B and Pop to Hip-Hop.

After performing what Ekko deemed an "all too brief" stint as a lead member of a female quartet signed to the legendary Motown Records label, Ekko perfected her song writing skills, contributing vocals to a list of artists’ projects that include: The L.O.X, The Lost Boyz, Al B. Sure, and Dru Hill in addition to touring with established acts singing background; most notably, SWV.
While never shifting her focus from Music, Ekko (always realizing the importance of education) achieved her B.A. in Legal Studies and her MA Childhood Education where she developed an urban based music curriculum to assist at-risk minority youth with building literacy and developing positive self-image.
