RL Lewis / Bio

RL Lewis is a music producer, arranger, songwriter and performing artist. He is the sole proprietor of (BMP/MBM Storms Music Publishing). His interest in music started early, but he credits the year of 1992 when he started his music tracks. He has worked with many local artists from Alabama, Maryland, New York and Washington D.C. where he did pre-production work with major recording artist Raheem DeVaughn (Jive Records). He took one semester at the University of the District of Columbia (U.D.C.) for the business of music in which entertainment lawyer Lita Rosario taught. She is credited with assisting the discovery of Dru Hill, Mya, and Pure Soul from University Records.

RL Lewis' music has a touch of smooth R&B/Hip Hop, jazz, and Neo Soul variances. His songs are mostly about love, but also fun club jams, and political and liberation styled cuts.

He aspires to become the best and most successful music producer, arranger and songwriter he can be. He specializes in the field of R&B music, but also produces tracks for Rap/Hip Hop artists as well. He plans to take what he's learned and pass it along to others.
