Wade is a familiar face in a number of NZ's charitable and fund raising events, has performed live public/private gigs in various venues in NZ throughout the years and recently was a judge in The Great Kiwi Talent Quest 2013. Wade is a self taught NZ born musician who naturally evolved into a singer/songwriter since taking a strong interest in guitar from a young age. Wade is passionate about helping talented emerging artists to gain experience via live performances and enjoys working alongside likeminded individuals to give them a platform to move further towards their goals and in some cases, help them prepare for larger national events. Wade performs in a large variety of guitar styles from fingerstyle, folk style finger-picking to rhythmic ballads and blues. With a multi-genre passion for music, Wade has been known to surprise people with his versatility both vocally and instrumentally. While Wade plans to continue tutoring guitar, taking part in worthy fundraising events and helping emerging artists, he is now writing songs for his first solo album which will include songs composed throughout the years but were never released, as well as new material with more recent influences.
If you're an emerging artist in NZ whether it be a singer, musician, dancer or any other genre of performing arts and would like to gain experience and public exposure either as a contestant or guest artist in the next talent quest, please contact Wade directly through the RN questions section or messaging utility and he will reply as soon as he can with contact details for the Community Spirit Rising charity group, founded by Kiwi poet, Robert Edwards.
* FREE MUSIC CLASSES - NORTH SHORE AUCKLAND
Music lessons can be expensive and there's a lot of people out there who genuinely can't afford it. If you're wanting to enquire about the free music lessons, please send an email via RN and Wade will be in contact as soon as he can. Wade also repairs old guitars frequently in his spare time and in many cases, builds guitars from spare parts for students and gives them away for free to those who're passionate about learning but cannot afford lessons or a decent instrument to practice on. We also have spare guitars at our sessions so first timers can have a go.
