Hi! My name is Greg Meyers & I run dayglodaydream studios
dayglodaydream studios is located right off of Lawrenceville Hwy just past Jimmy Carter Blvd in my home.
My studio uses Cubase 48 track software with a 16 simultaneous input Tascam computer interface. I use 7 mics on the drums, leaving 9 channels open for guitars, basses keyboards, vocals, whatever. I like to be honest & record your band as live as possible. I am not interested in making you sound like something you are not. If that is what you are looking for, you should go elsewhere.
I used to play out myself (mostly drums) at 688, The Bistro, The Nitery, Celebrity Club, Tokyo Beach, TV Dinners, The Strand. I know it is tough for up & coming bands, so I am very flexible about payment.
The music on my website is various artists recorded at my studio. Right now it is a song by Bobby Swain's Blues Generation band's latest album, titled "Looking Forward, Backwards". They recorded it all in one afternoon with one take on each song! This was my second CD to record & it won an award from the Atlanta Blues Society for best self produced album of the year!.
I also have STUDIO MUSICIANS AVAILABLE to help fill out your project. Ask me or SIGN UP to be one!
Contact me or if you see me around, just say something, we will get you recorded.
