House of Karma was formed in Adelaide, July 2012.
I decided to put together a band in which genres were not really recognised. Whatever we write and we like we play.
Original members were me (Reg) and Adam (my amazing song writing cohort) as well as Deano Bass (strangely on bass) and Peter Gore (drums).
The band continued like that for a while until we lost Peter somewhere. We couldn't find him for a while so we got another drummer. Enter the almighty Steve Smith.
Peter has since turned up in a blues band Thirty Two Twenty where he's doing what he was born to do. Play some awesome drums.
Unfortunately a while after that we lost Deano too. He was such a treasured member we cried for little while and to soothe the distress Steve decided to play bass.
Deano also turned up to continue to play the baddest bass in The Rock Dogs.
In stepped in the brilliant Tom Abell to fill the drumming role. A Jazz/Conservatory drummer that's probably a bit too good looking for this band but I suppose that might rub off on the rest of us. (well, we can hope)
We released The Earth Where We Tread in late Jan 2014 and new songs are coming all the time.
If you want a copy of The Earth... just send us a message.
We are a completely original song band with many, many songs not yet recorded.
Our aim is to write original music that will draw from all of our influences and please some others ears as well.
We'll be back gigging really soon.
