James McKeehan - Singer, Songwriter

James McKeehan was raised in Houston, Texas going out to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in the early to mid-80s and being exposed to so much of what is at the heart of country music: rodeos, the life of cowboys and cowgirls, livestock shows, and, of course, country music legends. In 2012, he joined Steel Water Blue as the male lead vocalist.
Jillian White - Singer, Songwriter

Jillian was reared in SE Texas and began her music career by joining the band (playing the flute) and also the choir in Junior High. That is where her love for music flourished! Although she has been classically trained and has successfully competed throughout the state singing the works of Brahms, Handel, and other composers of the like, she has acquired a very broad range of musical style preferences and attains the flexibility to perform different types of music and has done so since her youth. Singing "garage band style" has kept her in practice until her introduction to SWB in 2013.
Rey Salas – Lead Guitar, Songwriter

Rey is the lead guitarist for Steel Water Blue. A San Antonio native; he grew up in the Houston area, and playing guitar from the age of 12. As a child, he was introduced to the sound of classical guitar by his father and grandfather. He immediately fell in love with the tone, agility, and the passion it took to play the guitar like Andres Segovia and Carlos Montoya. He inevitably discovered The Beatles and Motown, and eventually, Van Halen. He’s influenced by dozens of remarkable players, including the iconic, Steve Wariner.
Tom Clements - Steel Pedal, Dobro
Musical Influence: William Clements and numerous steel players (past and present)
Tom Clements was inspired to play music by his brother, William Clements, who has played bass and performed vocally for many years. Tom has performed with many local bands and has opened for various artists such as George Strait, Merle Haggard, Gary Stewart, Freddy Fender, Sawyer Brown, Asleep at the Wheel, and Sammy Kershaw, Hal Ketchum and Mark Chestnutt.
Timothy “ Timbo” Cruz Yanez - Drummer
Musical Influences: Rush, Live, Tool & Guns n’ Roses
“Timbo” has been playing drums for 25 years. Rooted in Rock and Roll, Timothy has been playing in venues all across the Houston area as well as the nation. He has played various venues in Houston including Fitzgerald’s, The 19th hole, the Engine Room, Turtle Club, Shenanigans, the Chute, Texas Tavern, and Cypress Saloon. He is now currently drumming for Steel Water Blue.
