In the Summer of 2011 the Twin Cities area band "One Fast Move," hit a crossroad, in search of a new fiddle player they contacted their old friend Karen Krueger. Karen had recently started a project with two new friends Daryn Christenson and John Reinhart called "Sweet 109." Sweet 109 had been searching for a bass player and hoping to also find a banjo player to complete their instrumentation. "One Fast Move" had also been considering adding a mandolin player to their outfit. It seemed the two groups were meant for each other, so Mark Bishofsky, Eli Hoehn, and then Bass Player Bill Grenke joined forces with Karen, Daryn and John. The Big Adventure was born. In November of that year Bill Grenke left to pursue other interests and in December the Band brought in Chris Banick to round up the group. His enthusiasm was just what the group needed. They played out, learning and mastering songs, and then entered the Recording studio in spring of that year and released an album entitled: Congratulation Station. John has since moved (to India no less!) and in the meantime the group has returned to calling themselves "One Fast Move". Confused? Don't be! Our energenic performances and unique brand of Americana music has remained unchanged.
