Tom Armstrong / Bio

Hello! Thank You for taking the time and stopping by. I'm Thomas Armstrong but please, call me Tom! I was born in 1960 and was influenced by artists like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Them, Neil Young, Frank Sinatra, Yes, Rush, Neil Young and a lot of other artists playing on the AM at the time. If you remember in 1965 the Beatles were featured in a cartoon series called "Help". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ll3KSiPjT4A

I've been learning, playing, writing, studying, teaching, recording, and performing since the early age of 9. when The Beatles came out with the White Album and Neil Young was #1 on the Billboard Charts with "After The Gold Rush". I studied music at the Lionel Hampton School of Music in Moscow, Idaho. Wrote incidental music for plays like 'Night of the Iguana' by Tennessee Williams and 'Getting Out' by Marsha Norman at Washing State University (WSU). I've been in a few local bands. Recorded 4 CDs, sat in for numerous on stage performances, and currently working on another solo project. I play finger style guitar, living and working in Everett, Washington and playing gigs as they come in.

Thanks Again and say hello when you can!
